Notice is hereby given that Malahide United AFC will hold a Special
General Meeting on Thursday January 28th 2010 at 8pm at Grand Hotel,
Malahide, Co.
Dublin
for the purposes of considering and if thought fit, passing the following
Special Resolutions:
1.Special
Resolution to Alter the Rules of Malahide United AFC
That the rules for
Malahide United AFC be altered in the following manner:
By the addition of the
following new rules to be numbered;
2.4.1To provide
social and athletic outlets and amenities for its members to include, but not
limited to, a crèche, gymnasium and coffee shop.
4.4Associate Members – An associate member is any member of the
club who does not participate directly as a player, manager, coach or is
otherwise involved in the running, management, or upkeep of the club.Any person who is not already a member but
wishes to become a member can do so by signing an associate membership form.
Associate members enjoy all the benefits of membership with the exception of
the power to cast a vote at a general meeting of the club.
2.Special Resolution to
authorise the Executive Committee to borrow money.
That the members of the club authorise the Executive Committee to enter
into a credit facility for the purpose of carrying out internal renovations to
the new building at
GannonPark. Also to facilitate
the operation of a gym within the new building at Gannon Park and for the
provision of floodlighting for the 11 a side pitch at Gannon Park on the terms
provided within the credit agreement issued by AIB Bank Plc, and the security
to be provided for the facility being a Legal charge over club premises and
pitches at Gannon Park, Coast Road, Malahide, Co Dublin vesting in the names of
the Trustees of Malahide United AFC.
