Our superb pre-Christmas season culminated in achieving top of the division status with 9 out of 10 wins (See 9B1 table below), a cup qualification and guaranteed promotion in 2008. A huge effort and commitment from day 1 from our 11 boys could not go without some reward.

Ian Glanville sourced a set of medals that could only be compared in size and weight to Olympic Gold! And sponsorship we had received from Ray Stears (Glen’s dad), Frank Conroy (Jamie’s granddad) and Ian and Olive Glanville (Jack’s dad and mum) meant we could purchase personalised training tops & rain jackets which, with a bit of exertion, were delivered on the 1st December.

Both medals and gear were presented after the match and as you can see from the photos the players, parents, sponsors, brothers, sisters, and managers, all went home happy!

To Paul, Eamonn, Darragh, JJ, Glen, Matt, Ross, Ken, Jack, Jamie and Eoghan, a very big well done and keep up the effort in 2008!

And to the parents and sponsors thank you for all your support in 2007.

Finally, a very special thanks to Graham (Greener) Greene and Joe Maguire, both of who continue to give up a lot of their time to assist us in goalkeeping and SAQ coaching.
