After a long break since Christmas we were likely to be rusty. However it did not play out that way and a quick start got us into a 2-0 lead with goals from a Daragh Corner straight in and a great shot from Jamie. We played really well and dominated the game and got a deserved third from Jack to claim a comprehensive victory.

Home v St Francis - Drew 2-2

Deja Vue, we started like a train on fire and went 2 -0 up again, goals from Daragh meant we were in great position. Calamity we went asleep and for a period just before half time lost 2 goals. We regrouped at half time and then proceeded to pepper the goal for the second half, hitting the Bar 3 times. But we just could not get that winning goal.

Home v Lucan Utd - Drew 2-2

We were a bit giddy before the match and it showed in first 10 minutes. Lucan were on top and went deservedly in front 1-0. Pulled a goal back from a Corner , which was great as we had been talking about this in training. To be fair to Lucan, they were playing very well and giving us plenty of problems. Went 2-1 down and backs were really up against the wall. We showed great fighting spirit to get the equaliser, but before that Mikey pulled off a super 1v1 save when their striker was clean through. Last minute of the game in fact the 21st guess what! Another Goal form a corner.

Cup Game Away v Esker Celtic - Won 3-1

Very slow to start and esker were on top. Scored a good goal at the far post. 1-0 down. Then one of the Goals of the season JJ Nolan came form Half way line latched onto the ball and unleashed a rocket of a shot into the top corner from what must have been 25 yards.GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!!!This then set us up to take control of the game. Second Half we were on top and further good goals from Daragh and Luke earned a good victory.

Home v Esker Celtic - Won 6-1

We changed the team around a bit with Christian at the back and Sean in midfield. We had a scare at start as Dado was not feeling too good. Good start got us off to a 2 goal lead iwth goals form Daragh and Sean, but Esker pulled one back. It has to be said there were some bad tackles from the opposition but we continued to play good football. In fact it drove us on to score four more goals with Daragh completing a hat -trick and Jack and Luke also chipping in.

Away v St Francis - Won 6-0

The only team to beat us so far in season 07/08, we were expecting a big battle, which we got. Close game in First half saw us take the lead with a great goal from Jamie. A big pitch and it appeared St Francis tired sooner and we started to play some great stuff. Goals from Dara and Mark from long range set us up nicely. The Lads obviously listened to us at half time, reluctant to shoot in first half. St Francis dropped their heads and we went from strength to strength. We ran in a further 3 from Dara again and Luke a brace. Starting to look good from Corners.

Home v Raheny United in Cup - Won 5-0

In Windy and Cold conditions we played really well. We passed the ball and showed good movement. Goals from Sean a brace from Luke, an OG and the usual one from Dara meant we were deserving winners.
